1/2
cup
almonds
(you can use more or less according to your preference)
1/2
tsp
cinnamon powder
salt
to taste
1/2
cup
natural sweetener
of choice
(I used maple syrup but you can use honey if you like)
1/4
cup
coconut oil
1
tbsp
vanilla extract
(use pure vanilla extract for better flavors)
1/4
tsp
almond extract
(optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300F or 150C
Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet and set aside
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients (oats, cinnamon, almonds, and salt) and set it aside
In another bowl, add all the wet ingredients (sweetener and coconut oil)
Whisk them together
Add vanilla and almond extracts into the wet mixture and whisk again
Pour the wet mixture on the dry ingredients
Toss it around
Make sure all the dry ingredients are properly coated
Spread this onto the prepared baking tray
Bake for 45 minutes, stir it every 15 minutes
