  • ½ cup Brown Rice Penne Pasta
  • 2 cup Broccoli Chopped
  • 1 cup Kale Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil Extra-Virgin
  • tsp Black Pepper
  • ¼ tsp Salt For the recipe and pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add in pasta and cook pasta for 3 minutes
  • Drain pasta and rinse with cold water (this helps the pasta from overcooking). Save half of a cup of the pasta water
  • Steam broccoli for about 5 minutes
  • Add olive oil to a preheated pot. Add minced garlic
  • Add in broccoli, pepper, and half of the salt. Sauté for a few minutes
  • Add the kale and pre-cooked pasta, along with 1/2 tsp of olive oil and the remaining salt.
  • Cook together for 3 minutes
  • Drizzle with 1/2 tsp of olive oil and serve.
