A sweet and healthy dose of all the superfoods blended into a drink sounds like the elixir of life to me. The Jamba Juice peanut butter chocolate love recipe is a simple and quick way to make yourself this tasty drink.

Jamba Juice PB Chocolate Love Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 bananas, frozen
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup low-fat milk
- 3/4 cup ice
Optional Add-ins
- 1/2 cup low-fat Greek yogurt, vanilla
- 1 small banana, fresh
- 1 tbsp chocolate shavings, or chocolate chips
- Whipping cream, Aerosol
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients on a kitchen counter
- Set up your blender with the metal blades
- Place the bananas and peanut butter into the blender and secure the lid
- Blend at medium speed till smooth and creamy
- Add cocoa powder, milk, and Greek yogurt if using
- Blend the ingredients again till homogeneous
- Taste as you go, add honey or granulated sugar if you prefer a sweeter drink
- Once the smoothie is flavored to your liking, add half of the ice and give it another blend
- Add the rest of the ice into a tall glass and pour the smoothie over it
- Decorate your smoothie with sliced bananas, chocolate shavings, and top it off with a spray of whipping cream
- Enjoy chilled!
Tips for this recipe
- The smoothie tastes best chilled, you can or reduce ice to your liking
- You can add plant-based milk of your liking
- The Vanilla Greek Yogurt adds sweetness to the drink, you may use plain Greek yogurt if you prefer a less sweet drink
- The smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, we do not recommend storing it
- Frozen bananas are preferred over fresh ones as they add a creamy texture to the drink. Freeze overripe bananas only and leave them to soften outside the freezer for 10 minutes before blending
