In a large pot, brown the beef. Do this over medium-high heat.
Add the spice, salt, and pepper. Once the beef is browned, add minced onions, garlic, and 1 tbsp of coriander. Toss until onions become translucent.
Add 1 cup of water to cover the beef. Bring to a boil and lower the heat. Simmer without covering the pot until all the water is almost absorbed.
Add crushed tomatoes, broth, and stir. Add a handful of rice and spinach.
Stir the teaspoon of coriander. Simmer until the rice becomes cooked and till the spinach is wilted.
Your Egyption Spinach is ready to be served.
