  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup.
  • ½ Lime juice.
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce.
  • ½ tsp Fish sauce.
  • ½ tsp Sriracha/chili garlic sauce.
  • 2 tsp Ginger.
  • ½ Cup Coconut milk.
  • 1 Garlic clove.
  • ½ Stalk of lemongrass.
  • ½ tsp Curry powder.
  • ¼ Coriander.
  • Cilantro for garnishing.
  • 1 pound Chicken boneless ( your choice of meat).

Almond Butter Sauce

  • ¼ Cup Almond butter.
  • ¼ Cup Water.
  • 2 tbsp Canned coconut milk.
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup.
  • ½ tsp Lime juice.
  • 1 tsp Fish sauce.
  • 1 tsp Ginger.
  • ½ tsp Soy sauce.
  • ½ tsp Sriracha or chili garlic sauce.

Note: you can add or skip ingredients according to your taste and style.


    How to make almond butter chicken at home?

    • Take a small bowl to mix and marinade all the ingredients.
    • Put all ingredients together and mix it well.
    • Take a freezer bag and put the mixture in it.
    • Cut the chicken into bite sized cubes.
    • Put the chicken into the bag, mix it well and refrigerate it for 2 hours minimum. It would be great if you marinate it overnight.
    • You need to preheat your grill before starting the recipe.
    • Now the process of threading this marinade chicken onto skewers. (If you are using wooden skewers, it would be great to soak them in water for at least 3 to 3 hours before skewing).
    • Grill your chicken from both sides (each side for 3 to 4 minutes).
    • To prepare the almond butter sauce, take another pan and mix all ingredients. Whisk them well in the saucepan.
    • Bring the sauce to a boil and let it simmer on medium-low flame for 2 to 3 more minutes.
