Start by chopping the chocolate. After this, melt it in a double boiler or bain-marie.
To do this, place the chopped chocolate in a bowl (heat-proof).
Using a pan that fits the bowl. Fill it with water. Make sure that the water doesn't touch the bottom of the pan.
Next, fit the bowl on top of the pan. Heat the water on medium-low heat. Allow chocolate to melt. Continue to stir.
Ensure that the water doesn't boil. In case it starts to boil. Turn off the heater and stir the chocolate until it melts.
Add the coconut oil and mix.
Add the peanut butter, vanilla extract, salt, and sweetener.
Pour chocolate peanut butter spread in a jar. Allow it to cool and set for several hours.
Serve as desired.
